Branding is one of my favorite visual challenges, because of the vast array of applications it can be applied to. A single branding exercise could include illustration, photography, motion, web design, etc. It's also where people really have a chance to establish their visual identity, and I love helping others do that!

DEVIOUS DONKEY
DESIGNER COLLECTIBLE

In this assignment, we were given creative freedom to explore our own project ideas. I chose to create a brand (Devious Donkey) and a line of collectible figures to be distributed by the brand. See how I used Blender, Procreate, the Creative Suite, and several 3D printers to create a real, tangible collectible figure line.

UESHIMA COFFEE CO.

Founded in 1933, Ueshima Coffee Co. is one of Japan's oldest coffee distributors. Despite that, the brand was lacking a ready-to-drink line of beverages, and needed to not only extend its market, but make connections within it as well. This project tackles packaging, branding, and tradeshow concept visualization.

This was a collaborative effort to help a small non-profit develop its identity from the ground up. Starting with only a family crest, we built a brand identity for the client and several other collateral pieces such as a business card, brochures, and a mockup landing page.
